A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Certainly so - my laptop is here in the spare bedroom and Jinks has been up on the bed keeping me company already - bit hesitant little legs jumping up all that way the first time for about a fortnight!
It's lovely having him back to normal. Mind, he's not easily giving up privileges earned during convalescence: this morning he wouldn't eat his lovingly prepared breakfast of rice and scrambled egg (fool that I am) in the kitchen and waited until I put it on the hearth in the living room (fool that I am) where he's been having his food!
I am trying to catch up in 365 on my phone. No power here since Tuesday. Massive storms earlier in the week on the east coast affecting hundreds of miles and over 250,000 homes withoutpower. Hopefully we will get power back in the next few days.
Just wanted to check Jinks was ok. I bet he is pleased to be rid of his lampshade.
Babs, yes thank you and he's turned back into my little shadow (we had the stairgate up for safety so he couldn't get up here with me when I'm on the laptop). I hadn't felt too well and hadn't realised that I had missed him being with me! I'll be in touch soon.
