I thought the geese were not quite so hostile yesterday - until - I saw them 'seeing off' the little family of several ducks who'd taken refuge in South Pond now that the water in North Pond has totally dried up.
Woe betide the ducklings if they dared to swim too close to the geese!
I always make this agreement : if you do not nasty to me I do n`t use you for dinner. Great close up shot of this beautiful goose head.

I do! There's always the long zoom between me and the geese - sometimes it's scary to see how close they look in that zoom!!!
Perhaps they are a bit scared that it's only a bit more than 6 months to Christmas?!
