through the wrought iron

This is the Piper tapestry in Chichester Cathedral. It was designed by John Piper and woven in France. (1966)

I was experimenting with different apertures to see what focus I could get.

Nice to see my summer pudding crept on to PP - and that even a food shot can make it there!

Thank you - if you come south, this place is worth a visit! When I want to get a good focus on foreground and also the background I've been trying out different apertures but think I need to have a smaller one - it's fun experimenting anyway. (And I took a shot indoors yesterday with flash and it came out amazingly well!)
