hurdle hedge with spindle berries

I like the way the leaves of the spindle-berry tree also turn pink in the autumn.

Fabulous sunny morning and it's our brother-in-law David's birthday today. I think the plan is a morning walk along the River Hamble, with a little lunch at Bistro 8 and tonight dinner at Giorgio's Mediterranean Restaurant.
