Jinks had a follow-up vet appointment on his birthday yesterday.
Fool that I am, I was seduced into buying him a toy from the display (especially for owners) even though he has a basketful he never plays with, preferring instead used tennis balls which Ray brings home from his club.
I think he quite liked the brown paper bag I put the toy in to give to him.
Oh bless him. I buy toys for Bas our cockatoo but he doesn't play with them preferring a cardboard box to rip up instead and it also serves as a bedroom! Lovely shots of Jinks - Fav
Such a nice triptych and lovely to see Jinks - he and Hattie do look very similar - H. is possibly smaller. How easily we pet owners are seduced by advertising - I usually buy Hattie a toy too at the vets - she likes the ones with dangly bits that squeak.
What a cute collage! It looks like he's about to play with the toy and then realizes how cute it is and can't bear to muss it up. Sort of how we sometimes are reticent to lop the head off a gingerbread man!
For some reason, our fearless Cairn terrier seemed frightened of the squeak in this toy!
