I think this is a baby robin. Somebody will surely tell me.
We were having breakfast when this little bird hopped down on to the patio. I just sat still and carried on eating my porridge because I felt there was no chance of a photo.
But when he continued to hop around here and there, I carefully stood up and reached for my camera which, fortuitously, was on the side with the long zoom lens on. And I managed 5 shots and liked this one the best.
A big thank you for your response to my baby robin. I think that the 'robin pose' must be innate!! I'd forgotten to put out new fatballs that morning and it seems he was trying to tell me something. And if it wasn't for Houdini Jinks and his escape attempts there would not have been a wooden fence (built by Ray to keep Jinks in) for the robin to sit on.....

Ann, thank you for your comment and fav. The shot was taken with a long zoom (210mm) & heavily cropped also through glass. Love my Sony!
Thank you both so much - you can imagine how chuffed I was to see this endearing little robin on TT!
Thank you - exciting! And thanks for the fav!
