morning moon

When I drew the curtains this morning, the sun was rising at the front of the house and, at the back, the moon was just going to bed.

I don't have a lens really long enough for moon captures but decided to have a try, opening the patio door to go outside which puzzled Jinks still curled up in his bed.

This is the best I've ever managed so I was pleased I had a try. Reminds me of that song 'Half a sixpence......'

Fav! I don't know how you got such a perfect close-up... I tried with my camera (in the evening) and just got a bright blur!
