Thanks everyone for your interest in my photo of the lantern ceiling in the monastery church at Buckfast Abbey yesterday, which prompts me to post this view of a side chapel in the church.
I am not religious but I do love religious architecture and I do feel that the monastic life, with its calm, order and regularity, must have many advantages. A shot of the church building is in my second album.
