a copper sunflower by quietpurplehaze

a copper sunflower

This sunflower is around 6 feet tall and stands on the deck.

Ray saw it in the Art in the Garden exhibition at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and it became my birthday gift that year.
That is lovely Hazel, so much more shape and form to it than some I have seen which seem very flat and 2D. Great shot of it too

That is a beautiful garden art piece. I agree with Anne. They are usually flat. You photo shows that depth nicely.

They can make copper grow these days? The copper producing countries could be a bit miffed!

@lostphojo

It hasn't grown since we 'planted' it - but it does fall over in high winds!

@pyrrhula

Round the side of the house, which gets more sun, the wisteria is already in full flower. I hope you are both well Ferry.
