This is the brand new Winchester Sport and Leisure Park where I have just enjoyed a first session of hydrotherapy. The water was beautifully warm and I spent a blissful half hour, could even walk in the water pain-free.
It was not without a couple of hiccups, both created by me. We (Ray as my carer) were able to take the mobility scooter right into the accessible changing room. I was using the hand-held shower when Ray alerted me to the fact that I was also showering the scooter. In his inimitable manner, he was soon drying it off.
Once in the pool I realised I had kept my specs on so Hollie, the lovely hydrotherapist, put them safely poolside for me.
You've guessed - in the changing room afterwards - no specs. I cautiously opened the door onto the pool. A lifeguard soon came over and fetched them for me.
We had lunch in the café afterwards. I'm looking forward to next week.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
What a day you have had. I am sure the people at the leisure park will remember you. ha ha.

Good luck with yours, Dawn. Mine is hip.

Yes, surely his phone!
Thanks so much!
