Many of my 365 friends will know that my daughter, Clare, has her own enterprise as a silversmith. She has also diversified into a few other craft areas.
With a friend, she made concrete bowls (bottom right).
She is currently organishing a craft fair for herself and a few others to sell their wares. For this she is making her pieces of enamelling (bottom left and centre small) into pendants and brooches.
Top right you can see, in situ, tiles she has made as a splashback for the washbasin in her newly refurbished bathroom. I like the different leaf motifs and I believe she is searching for a dark coloured grout to finish the tiling.
The other pieces in my collage have been made as gifts for me from Clare with her silversmith hat on.
Such really lovely pieces of art. I wish her good luck with her craft fair and with all her craft ventures. It’s a tough but satisfying way to make a living.
