I met Arthur yesterday: he came into the garden centre with his owners as we came out of the restaurant.
After I asked for a photo, Arthur's master told him to sit: he sat. I called his name from behind the camera to get him to look at me, which he did but stayed sitting.
Such a gentle and obedient dog, it was surprising to learn that Arthur, a Great Dane, is just 14 weeks old. He is the 4th in a succession of Great Danes to live with his owners, who hope to show him at Crufts.

He is very cute and he has some big feet to grow into. Very well trained surely for only 14 weeks old. I’m afraid that my son, who is also named Arthur, was nearly that well behaved at 14 weeks.
