thanks everyone, it makes a good pic but now I'm going to come clean. You can buy tins in the supermarket called 'Mamade' which contain the pulped oranges all ready to put in the preserving pan, just add water and sugar and boil in the usual way and hey presto! I do sometimes make marmalade the traditional but all that cutting up of peel and processing is rather labour intensive and this tastes really good anyway.
@doblaine I've just finished my toast and marmalade! Making lemon curd this afternoon - only do these things once in a while and I don't want you to think I spend most of my time in the kitchen!
