Now all is grey, cold, dreary, wintry........... Time to stay in and make some cakes and a moussaka for dinner. Well, think I'll have a small siesta first!
Gosh Hazel I don't know how you managed to capture this but it's lovely. The lighting is a lovely soft colour and the sun is amazing. Did you process this and if so, what program did you use?
Yes , we have the dark days before Christmas now . time to fire the heat, stay at home , and have a nice time together. Beautiful capture of an icy sun.
@rosiekind@tishpics@pyrrhula thanks for your comments. To be truthful I nearly didn't post this. It's sooc but I did use the camera on 'sunset' setting as it heightens the colours, although the sky did have this tinge. My photography is not at all technical! The siesta was good and Jinks joined me, of course. Nearly time to eat the moussaka!
@cabawg Anne, thank you. Well now I'll confess that I initially thought that this was the moon but then remembered it's less than a banana shaped crescent right now so couldn't be!
I appreciate all your comments (and the fav!). At last I remember to take my camera nearly everywhere with me so i don't miss these impromptu shots when they present themselves, even if it's not the easiest photographing the sky with a dog in tow!! @mittens@barbcapecod@judithg
