The Chapel by quietpurplehaze

The Chapel

formerly part of the Royal Victoria Military Hospital. Ray told me that he thinks the main building stretched for about 1/4 mile either side of the chapel -I haven't been able to verify the exact length but old photos online show that it was an incredibly imposing and impressive building.
From the front entrance to the chapel the grassy parkland slopes down, punctuated by mature trees, over a sliver of shingle, to Southampton Water.
