Pat, well spotted, thank you and I shall now alter it! I am very competent with language but I think I have a type of dyslexic difficulty as regards time, number, mental arithmetic, because I can often get things muddled up!!!
@quietpurplehaze well I had to think twice& actually checked with Harry before I commented. It's an easy mistake....I get confused too & I wondered if you had taken this photo before Christmas Hazel.
It's a bit scary, Pat, when I don't notice what I've done. Through doing university-level study for a qualification to teach dyslexic students I found out that there's something called dyscalculia which is a difficulty with numbers which I definitely have. I am fine with using numbers 'globally' but can trip up on the nitty-gritty. And my sense of direction is appalling. All this I see as similar to the type of difficulties dyslexic folk have with spelling etc but just in a different area. Since I found out about having bipolar disorder it's made me hypersensitive to people's differences and difficulties. And our adult son, Neil, who lives with us, now has a diagnosis of Asperger's which I'd suspected for a long time - that's been a tough call for all the family, not least of all for him. He's so very intelligent and has lots of talents but the people/social/communciation aspect of life is so hard for him. I'll stop now!
Stunning shot Hazel, and yes it is good that its getting later! and on a positive note, there is so much more understanding these days of Aspergers, mental health and I hope tolerance of everyones idiocyncracies.....it's a good job we are all unique!!
@quietpurplehaze Hazel you have my sympathies......you do so well with all these little hiccups in life.....take my hat off to you! Each individual thing has been beaten by you over the years so well done you. I am sure you are an inspiration to Neil who sounds wonderfully rounded & with all the help that is available he will have the support there if he needs it. A loving family is all we all need in life! You, Ray, Neil & your lovely daughter will be fine! I do stupid & scary things & I have no excuse !! It's an age thing!! Keep moving on girl!
Pat, yes, that's good and 'keep moving on' is great. It's a shame we are so far from each other as I know we should enjoy a photographic meet-up and it does not cease to amaze me how folk can get to know and support each other on a site such as this. Thank you!
Nicole, thank you - you were quick!

That's what I meant to say!!! See my comment above to Pat!!

Yes, 'unique' is a good word to remember, Susie - thanks!
