Star, just 3 months old, is a 'new' hearing dog in training.

We met her, with her volunteer trainer, in Pets at Home when we were buying dog food for Jinks. I was fascinated with the 'lining' of her ears which was a different colour fur - you can just see the gold from the little fringe on the edge of her ear. 'Hearing' dogs apparently have to be of the highest intelligence. I hope she makes the grade and will be a wonderful companion for somebody who needs her.

Beautiful tricolour. We get a few in school with mentors for our hearing impaired children. Apparently they have to be very well rewarded after the 'alarm clock' call!
