'diptych' in 'chrome'

As we returned from our morning walk yesterday, we found our neighbour down the road (his dog, Ollie the Collie, is Jinks' best friend) in his front garden with his beloved motorbike prominently displayed. He built this replica Rocket Gold Star himself but his doctor has told him he must now no longer ride it. Disappointing, to say the least.
I asked if I could take some photos and then found that the beautiful shining chrome meant unexpected selfies and you can see I also captured our neighbour in his yellow shirt.
Lovely diptych Hazel!! Wonderful shiny bike with a selfie - great fun!!

That must be disappointing for him, it looks a super bike. Love the reflections.

Looks like a cool machine. Fun reflections too.

Looks like a bike to be proud of. The distorted reflection reminds me of the Hall of Mirrors at the fair!

I love your selfies Hazel - you seem to have a knack of capturing yourself unexpectedly! A great image and so sad he can't ride it.

I can see you in the mud guard as well.

Life is hard. Now he can make it and afford it the doctor say no.
Great capture of the nice bike and the reflections

Great love was given to this wonderful bike. What a shine, and it captured your reflections perfectly. How sad that he can no longer ride it.

Wonderful bike and a great selfie. So sad that he, after building this bike, is not allowed to ride it

@richardcreese

Yes, I did notice that this time - last time you had to point it out to me when I was reflected in a mudguard I think!
