Japanese anemone

The first flower in our garden. They seem to be late blooming this year, also short stalks and small flowers.....

Oh mine are nearly over. I have moved the plants from house to house as I really love them. I think the soil where we are now could do with some enrichment though but they do still flower which I'm pleased about. Lovely capture

Snap !! in one of my photos entered today I have a few blooms of the Japanese Anemone -- but mine is a white flowered plant I have also a small clump of the pink one in another part of the garden !
