... the only problem being that there is currently no water in the pond and it's just a mass of green vegetation. This morning, for the second time recently, I forgot the water had dried up and was hoping for a shot of ducks, ripples, reflections etc. So here's the bridge itself instead.
We went into The Anvil for coffee http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2013-08-07 and le patron (he's not French but to me his premises have a French feel to them) came out with a big slice of home-cooked gammon for Jinks which he fed to him in little pieces. Then two young lady cyclists came and sat at the next table to us. Ray gave Jinks a bit more lead as he (Jinks) wanted to say hello. The next thing Jinks was curled up comfortably next to the chair of one of them, as if he was nothing to do with us. So now he can stay home while we go for a swim!

Margaret, if you come there will definitely be cake as well!
Thanks all for stopping by - see what's over the bridge http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/a-few-more/2013-08-29
