Haze's strangers: No.27: Santa Claus: Brian and Andy
I saw these two Father Christmas figures posting a notice in the High Street in Winchester for a Santa Fun Run there tomorrow. I waited until they got the sign fixed before I made my approach. They were very happy to pose (season of goodwill and all that).
A bit of ribaldry first: did I want them with or without beards or with trousers up or trousers down. This last because Andy (on the right) kept having to hitch his trousers up. Hope they won't fall down tomorrow during the run. That's Brian on the left.
They both work for Lloyd's Bank and will be running to support Naomi House and Jacksplace, a local children's hospice.
Later and a bit further up the street outside Lloyds Bank, I saw them again with some colleagues, Father Christmas x 6, but on the basis that you CAN have too much of a good thing I decided against a group portrait.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
I took a photo of two Father Christmases yesterday in Harrogate too but you did the job properly & arranged them nicely whereas I just shot them as they walked down the street ! Doing a great job giving their time for a good cause!
Well, you'll need two stockings to hang up!
