Oh...I love violets. The remind me of my grandmother. There are lots of medicinal uses for violets but too much and they can cause diarrhea. Tasty in salads as well.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. When I look at these I always wondered how those old books had people buying a nosegay of violets. I've never seen enough with long enough stems to have a nosegay. Haha!
