oh, you have a good vantage point here, Kathy, and the motion blur gives us the speed at which the train is moving, which of course we know already but you captured it rather well. that would be awesome for panning! ;-)

Thank you everyone. We went to the mountains yesterday to shoot a frozen geyser. The tracks go up the mountain. What we didn't know is they circle around the geyser, I guess to help the trains get and get back down the mountain. I had no idea the tracks were so close to where I was and so high.
