No seating for lunch

April 2020 words - social distance

An outside dining area of a local restaurant closed during the shelter in place order.
It’s really weird to see empty spaces , I miss people ....

Beautiful but very sad scene.

A welcoming spot when open. Strange times.
April 18th, 2020
Someday it will reopen (I hope) and when it does you should go celebrate!!!!!

We are in strange times, hopefully we will get the chance to visit places like this in the not too distant future.

Kathy you have my blessings to use the drawing and send it to your friend. If it helps in this fraught time we are going through I’m pleased. Let me know how you get on.

It certainly is a beautiful spot

Serene, shady...and empty. How will we feel as LockDown wears on...and on?

( For Forget me nots this is the most common colour.)
April 18th, 2020
It all seems so abandoned and yet alive.
April 18th, 2020
Sad- hopefully they are able to do take out.
April 19th, 2020
The absence of people is very interesting.

@cocobella @summerfield @wakelys @jb030958 @bkbinthecity @s4sayer @haskar @tunia @pyrrhula @swguevin2 @olivetreeann @thewatersphotos Thank you my 365 friends for you nice comments. I thought the patio looked hopeful with it's spring flush of trees and flowers. An optimistic sign of hope for the future. This will end.

@craftymeg Thank you for your kind comments and for the permission to send your photo to my friend. I will get in touch with her hopefully tomorrow. I'll let you know if she decides to try it.

Well at least someone is looking after the flowers 💐

What a lovely place and capture

@vignouse I imagine there are people walking downtown just to get some exercise, although I saw no one at the time I was there. There's a little water feature with a little falls just to the right of this photo at the corner of this little patio. It's always nice to see, as well.
@tosee Thanks Tom. I really should go there more often, but seems I haven't gone out to eat much even before the lock downs.

Restaurants are being really badly hit by the lockdown... how are they going to survive?
April 23rd, 2020
@will_wooderson You're right Will. My new year's resolution was to eat more at home, and the stay at home order has really helped me to keep that goal. I'm not sure how the restaurants will come back.
