I’m very impressed with this one. In the first place the fact that you know how to do layers is impressive, in the second place it makes a beautiful abstract and a FAV
Did you know February is named after the Latin word for purification -Februum- so is possibly the genesis for the term Spring Cleaning when we declutter and air and stuff to do with cleaning!!
I'd like you, for your get pushed this week, to find some of your clutter and do a still live in the style of an old master painting ( if that doesn't appeal just do a still life with the items)
Love it . Fav.
What do you want to know of the windmills? In fact those where factories powered by the wind. Used for many uses .e.g. Grinding grain, beating oil, sawing wood, pumping water out of ditches and lakes. and more
@grammyn Thank you Katy. The layers are getting a bit easier but they are still time consuming. @cocobella Thank you. The decoration I shot had a shiny, glittery look to it, so that helped with the bokeh. @olivetreeann I see the lily of the valley too, Ann, but didn't until you mentioned it. Thanks. @thewatersphotos Thanks Gary. @mcsiegle Thank you so much Mary. @aikiuser Thank you Jenn. @wakelys Thanks Susan. Some of the photos were converted to b&w and some were the original color. I didn't like all b&w or all color when I layered them. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. @30pics4jackiesdiamond I didn't know that about January. I need a good declutter, but I think I missed the date. Too bad! You gave me a good challenge and I shall have to do some research to prepare. Thanks. @farmreporter Thanks Wendy. @yolanda Thank you so much Yolanda. @will_wooderson You know, the decoration sort of has a "happy new year" look to it. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @craftymeg Thanks Margaret. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. I've followed your photos for awhile now and learned so much about your country and windmills. Preconceived notions are not good. Traveling broadens the mind, even if one does it virtually.
