I'm not a gardener. Can you tell? But this grass brought a new visitor to the garden - an Indigo Bunting. I've heard they were in the area but never saw one before a couple weeks ago. Trying to get a photo of it, but it's fast.
It looks very pretty to me. Mine is similar now as my back now rules the day and prevents me working in it but the little birds love it and I think I'm getting as much joy from them as I did the flowers,.
I like the low POV. It’s a very interesting looking garden and if it draws the bunting even better! I feel certain you will have the same success as @30pics4jackiesdiamond did it with her Kingfisher if you have the same patience she had!
@mcsiegle Have to make sure I have my camera close by. @jamibann I hope to get a shot of it but sitings of the bird have been fleeting. @ziggy77 It really caught my eye the first time I saw it Jo. So blue all over. So much more than the bluebirds that show up from time to time and much smaller - akin to a finch. I hope I have the patience and stealth to get a shot. I need to build a bird blind. @kjarn Apparently mine too. Thanks Kathy @ubobohobo Thanks Margaret. The back, the knees, and now the wrist and thumb. All conspiring against me. Of course I was never a gardener to start with. @wakelys It's a good source of fodder for the camera. I do hope that I can get it on camera. @grammyn Thank you Katy. It's really not low to the ground. The horizontal piece of the windmill is roughly 3 feet off the ground. I'm afraid that I am not patient especially to sit in the sun and wait for the bird that seems to be transient. @30pics4jackiesdiamond I'm tickled to see it and am a bit doubtful that I will be able to get a photo due to it's unpredictable arrival in the garden. It is my little spot of meadow. Thank you. @bkbinthecity Thanks. I hope I will but it's fast and unpredictable.
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @olivetreeann I have other plants too, but they are all but swallowed up in the grass. I hope to see the bird again, too. @thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. @haskar Thank you for your comments and wishes.
