I really like the details you've captured on the husks and the way they are reaching into the shot. I find the lens presence a little distracting but it's your artistic eye that has the final say here. fav
Thanks to all for your comments and favs and sending this photo to the PP and TP. @jeanniec57 Wow, Jeannie, thank you so much. @grammyn Some lenses, I believe, capture the light because they don't fit it right. I was using a snap on Macro lens which is a cheaper version of a macro. I guess I got what I paid for, but it was very inexpensive compared to good glass. Thank you for your comments. @corinnec Thank you Corinne. @olivetreeann Thanks Ann. I guess I don't like the black spots on the right as much as I thought and could have cropped them out. I do like the crescent shape on the left. @kwind Thank you very much Kim. @thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. The Indian corn is many years old, so those husks are dry and probably dusty/dirty. @kjarn Thanks for the comments and feedback Kathy. Now that I look at it over 24 hours later, I think you're right about the spots on the right. @shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie. I like the crescent shape on the left too. Should probably have cropped out the spots on the right. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @northy Thank you Northy. I didn't mean that you had to give me a challenge. I just wonder what's going on with those two ladies. They seem to be posting photos. I will do my best on this challenge. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Jackie, thanks so much for your feedback. I wouldn't know Chewbacca if I ran into him probably although I do know he was a character in Star Wars. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. Old dried (and probably dirty/dusty) corn husks. @bkbinthecity Thanks so much Brian. @craftymeg Glad you liked this Margaret. Thank you. @joemuli Thank you very much Joey. @pyrrhula Thanks so much Ferry.
