Trying to fix the vacuum

Today has been a productive day. Hung pictures, changed the HVAC filters and vacuumed the vents where the filters are. Then had to vacuum up the dust bunnies off the floor. That's when the this piece broke. I couldn't fix it so taking it to someone who fixes vacuums tomorrow. *sigh*

Oh no! I hope it’s not a lot of bother to get it fixed I. I know how frustrating that is to be on a roll and then have to stop for something like this. I find it hard to get my steam back up again.

@kwind It wasn't bad, except that I didn't get it fixed.
@joemuli As I told the guy at the vacuum place today, I'm in no hurry for him to look at it. I have my Roomba and it keeps the big grit pciked up.
@kjarn The vacuum cleaner repair person said he'd check out if he could get parts and if so how much they would cost. He found more wrong than I thought.
@summerfield It was productive even though I didn't fix the vacuum cleaner.
@linnypinny I was tired and went to bed at a reasonable hour. I hope it can be fixed.
@farmreporter Naw, well probably last year's spring cleaning. I hate to clean and I get aggressive when i run the vacuum.
@francoise Whenever I clean it's satisfying for the moment but depressing because that dust and dirt just comes right back.
@grammyn Thanks for commiserating with me. I measured and hung the pictures after talking to the vacuum repair person.
@thewatersphotos Yeah, no problem getting it apart. (There usually isn't) The problem is usually getting it back together. Didn't have too much trouble, but it broke again. Boo!
@bkbinthecity Me too Brian. I hope parts are available and less than a new one.
@digitalrn When I'm in the mood, doing these things can be fun. There is a feeling of accomplishment when finished. I too hope it can be fixed.
@shutterbug49 Yes, thank goodness. The Roomba can take care o the floors again for awhile.
@pusspup It's got cracks and broken pieces most of the parts seen here will need replaced.
@wakelys Sometime I'm going to take something apart and put it back together fixed. So far in my life that hasn't happened. @will_wooderson Me too Will.
