Still life of sunflowers

My partner this week challenged me to a a close up still life. Indoors or out. I almost chose some dead flowers in a pot outside, but decided to used this small sunflower plant I bought to give to my hostess on 7/4, but forgot to take. I took a number of photos and decided on this one.

@casablanca I do too. I saw a big patch of them this evening when I was going somewhere. The smaller sort. It was a bit odd looking but pretty. I was driving so no photo, of course.
