The day after Christmas. Too much rain to get out when I didn't have to. What better way to spend the day than watching schmaltzy Christmas movies, knitting, watching it rain and eating Christmas junk food. So naturally not too much time and effort was put into a photo for the day either.
I played around prepping more pictures to catch up with 365 and watched a Hallmark movie too- lo mojo and no concern about having to pick it up since I'm off work for a few days- yay!
@olivetreeann I'm retired and I still felt like I needed a break. (from what?) It was a good day. @grammyn It was a good day. The movie was good to me. Not the first time I'd seen it. It has a few unexpected twists but a feel good movie in so many ways without the saccharine sweetness of some Christmas movies. @kjarn I've seen it at least twice now and will watch it again whenever it becomes available in the years to come. @bkbinthecity It was good - the day and for me, the movie. @jamibann I've faved "The bank of Dave" for the future. @onewing It was good. Hard to get going today. @wakelys It was. Hope you're feeling better. @rensala I think I've only seen it twice, but it depends on which streaming channel it's on. I get a couple, but I noticed it's leaving Netflix soon, so I may not have access to it again anytime soon. @kwind It really was. @craftymeg Yes. I've seen those other movies you listed. Elf is heart-warming too. @haskar Oh well. I watched this on a streaming site that can be picked up on my tv set. I rarely watched movies for most of my adult life and decided I wanted to catch up when I retired. What I didn't know is that the older movies aren't always available. Your lifestyle is much healthier and I admire you for it. @pyrrhula The rain here was not a drizzle but a downpour. Flood warnings out and big puddles in my yard which sits fairly high in the area. Not a good day to be out driving. @corinnec I recommend it. If you have Netflix look at it soon. It's leaving Dec. 31.
