Get Pushed Challenge #598
My partner challenged me to do folded paper macro abstracts. This was difficult for me because I didn't have a lot of equipment to do them. I had thought about going to the stores to find them, but you know how the stores are now. I can't find anything. And I didn't have the time to order anything online. Anyway I cobbled together enough to take a stab at this.
@kali66 Thank you for the challenge. I will start looking for more equipment. The light I used got VERY hot! Probably not the best thing to use with paper. I did have fun with this. And hopefully when I get some better light I'll try it again.
Hi Kathy, I’m your partner for this week’s Get Pushed Challenge. Love what you did with the folded paper macro abstract - glad you didn’t challenge me to this! Looking through your work, I can tell you’re an experienced photographer. I’ll leave the subject open, but challenge you to experiment with double exposure. Enjoy!
This is fabulous I had to look at it for a while to see the paper.
Thanks so much for your comment yesterday. We all miss Chief, he was our friend and protector for over a decade.
@mona65 Thank you Mona. @grammyn Thank you Katy. @craftymeg Thanks Meg. @walksnaplove Thank you for your feedback and for the challenge. I'll give it my best. Do you care if the double exposure is done in post-processing? My "real" camera doesn't have the capability. @corinnec Thank you for your feedback on the photo. You're welcome about Chief. Hard to lose one's pet. @taffy Thank you Taffy. @granagringa Thank you. I'm working with scabbled together equipment. This time it did work and I'm glad. It was too cold to get out to the store(s) to hunt up what I wanted. @haskar Thank you Hannah. @kali66 Thank you Kali. @kjarn Thanks Kathy. @shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie. A little slide of the contrast, shadows and highlights I think. @dkbarnett Thank you. @pusspup I like that description. Thank you. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @gardenfolk Thank you. @olivetreeann Thank you Ann. @mirroroflife Thank you very much.
@wakelys Thank you Sue.
