52 Week Challenge Week #10 - black and white portrait
I have regular access to me to be a model for portraits, so me was the model for this challenge. Hope you're not getting tired of seeing me. Not a routine portrait either. But I think it fits the bill.
This one made me think back to my schooldays when on examination day my teacher said 'you can look up for inspiration, down in desperation but not sideways for information'
@dkbarnett I had to take several photos before I could find one I liked. Thank you. @cdcook48 That's exactly my idea too Chris. @shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie. @onewing What a clever way of putting it. That's a perfect way to describe how to take a test. @kjarn Desperate times call for desperate measures Kathy. @haskar Thank you Hannah. Better for me to make fun of myself than for someone else to do it. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie. @casablanca I spend a lot of time with myself Casa. @wakelys Maybe I should duck down the next time we play pigs. @pusspup Thanks Wilie. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian.
It does fit the bill- and you are braver than me. I am also the only one I'd be brave enough to ask for a portrait, but I am trying to figure out how to do one with the least amount of me showing as possible!
@sunnygirl Glad I could give you a chuckle. Thanks Mallory. @joemuli Thanks Joe. @marshwader It is, isn't it. Better than the full mug if you ask me. @olivetreeann Just pick a feature - your eyes, your ear, whatever (and I've done a number of these body parts) - and shoot from different angles. Cell phones are a little better for this type of shot than "good" cameras because they're lighter and smaller. @gardenfolk Thanks @cocobella It is. And those little ends can be so annoying!
Kathy -
The minimal challenge for this month is portraiture.
You should enter this shot into it. There are not many entries and it closes on Friday.
