I used to do weaving and natural dyes back in my high school and college days. My sister did the spinning and carding. This takes a lot of patience! Great collage too! (Just went to a sheep shearing the other day as well but the Spring wool doesn't get used for yarn- it's too matted from the winter.)
@olivetreeann Interesting. No, this is my second go at drop spindle spinning. Last time I decided I'd just buy my yarn in skeins or hanks. This just reinforced that decision. but is was fun, and I plan to finish the bit of roving that I started.
