Hugely useful. Never seen red ones...they're splendid! I have a several in 3 sizes and my usage is perhaps different than that of most. We have washable loose covers on our furniture. Before the covers are completely dry, I put them back on the furniture and use the bulldog clips to re-establish the corner pleats, later removing them when the covers are dry and the pleats hang straight and true ;-)

I use them to hang a calendar. Seems if you put a hool, nail or hanger in the wall to hang a calendar up, the next year it's in the wrong place. I just put one hanger in and hook one of the "arms" of the clamp (which holds the calendar) over the hanger. I do other things with them too.
