Violets in the grass

Get Pushed 503
My partner challenged me to take an image to go with " “Each moment of the year has its own beauty” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Allergies are keeping me mostly indoors so I ran out to see what I could see in the yard. I'm not much of a gardener so these are "native plants" that grow in the yard.
@annied Here's my response to your challenge. Sorry I waited so long. Thank you for the challenge.

@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry.
@cocobella Thank you Corinne. I wanted to get the grass in the photo because I thought the violets looked so pretty through it.
@amyk Thank you Amy. Because it hurts too much to kneel, I was just about standing on my head. A pretty sight to the cars driving past.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. A bit difficult to get when one can't get down there with the camera.
@myhrhelper Thank you Kathy. I appreciate the feedback about the matte look.
@kjarn Thank you Kathy. They really were a slight bit less "warm" in tone.
@wakelys Thank you Sue.
@grammyn Thank you Katy. Glad you weren't in one of the cars driving by. You might have wrecked seeing my big ole butt in the air.

@randystreat I hear you! If I can't put on the 10 second timer and position the camera quickly enough I don't get the ground shot. (o:

@olivetreeann Butt in the air to position the shot. I wish there was a better way to see the led live view in the glare of the sunlight.

@randystreat I can do it with the articulated viewfinder on my XS50HS Canon but not the Olympus or T3i. But there are still viewing problems if there's a glare for sure.
