Today my daughter and I treated ourselves to some beautiful leather boots. The retail therapy was our reward for a crazy day of getting her car towed to the repair shop, waiting in line for 2 hours at the DMV for a new driver's license and finally ordering my new eye glasses ( I posted a photo of the broken ones last week and am desperate for a new pair!). It rained all day (yeah, it does occasionally rain in So. Calif) so we drove around together doing all the errands no one really wants to do and actually had a good time doing them.
