Stained Glass Window by redy4et

Stained Glass Window

The word of the day is Stained Glass so it's ironic that
this morning I had the chance to design a beveled and stained glass window with a glass artist at her studio.

Colored glass has been produced since ancient times, most notably by the Egyptians and Romans. Today, clear and textured glass is often combined with beveled or faceted glass to create designs for window and doors in churches and synagogues, public buildings such as museums, restaurants and residences.
Beautiful well composed picture.

How exciting for you. I love stained glass. Our house is full of leadlight windows. The picture is lovely. Love the rainbow along the front of the table.

Wow...this is beautiful and what a wonderful opportunity. Will we get to see the finished product? Lovely design and love the beveled clear glass! Beautiful design.

Beautifully lit and composed photo. I love interesting stories behind photos which is why I spend so much time on the photojournalistic sites. Your profession goes hand in hand with photography, you must find it so rewarding.

@dgcarter Thanks for your comment! I do use my camera everyday for work photos ( mostly for quick iPhone shots) but 365 gives me a chance to
try be more creative. I'd love to learn to meld shots together the way you do!
