I originally posted this image of my cats back on January 14 as they sat on tables in my entry way.
Tragically, my black and white cat, Lolly, was attacked and killed by a coyote last night, in the front yard of our home. We all sat on the grass crying as she took her final breaths and slipped away. She was about 4 years old and certainly the most interesting cat of the many we've had over the years.
I'm really going to miss her...It's been a very sad day.
I am so very sorry to read about Lolly. It is always difficult and heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet and I wish you peace and comfort as you come to terms with her passing.
Elizabeth, you've reduced me to tears. I really feel for you. It is horrid when a pet dies, and in such a horrible way. I had a run of my cats either getting run over or disappearing and couldn't stand it any more. We built a huge enclosed cat run directly from the house, a cat flap through the wall into it, to keep my remaining cats safe. So sad.
That's terrible and heartbreaking. I love my fur baby and would be beside myself should she leave me so suddenly. I'm ever thankful that she is an inside only cat. Big cyber hugs to you for your loss.
That is so so sad, what a terrible thing to happen and what a beautiful cat. We are fortunate not to have anything that preys on cats in the U.K only cars really. So sad for your loss.

Oh, Elizabeth, my heart breaks for you...the story pains me terribly. I saw the picture of these gorgeous cats and was moved by Lolly's beautiful markings. I'm so so sorry.
Oh, Elizabeth, I just saw this, and it totally broke my heart and drove me to tears! Words cannot express how saddened I am at your loss.....what a beauty she was, and I bet a sweetie, too! I lost a cat to a car accident in front of our house, and I cried for a week.... How is Lilly coping with the loss of her sister? So, so sorry this happened.... :-((((
