On our way to Catalina Island, we first passed through the breakwater at the outer edge of the harbor to enter the open ocean. This fisherman was anchored close to the breakwater, oblivious to our passing by, hoping for a good morning catch. The gulls were circling, also hoping for a piece of the action.
