There really are about 29 palms in this shot! I took this in Palm Desert (near Twenty-Nine Palms) when I visited on Sunday. I've been rushing around, getting ready to leave for Myanmar and Thailand tomorrow night! Traveling with a small group of pro photographers, hoping some of their skills rub off on me! Will be gone 3 weeks and access to WIFI is likely to be limited so I may not be able to post much, if at all. Stay tuned for pics of what should be an incredible journey.
Oh, Elizabeth, you will have such a wonderful time there....so, so happy for you!! I don't know what you were doing at 29 Palms, but we are already stressing about our trip, and we are not leaving until the middle of November! Wow -- what a GREAT trip to be taking! I'm so envious. We were there back in the 1980s when it was still Burma, before the coup, and before much of the current development. I'm assuming you'll be in Pagan -- it was such a highlight. Safe travels, and I can't wait to see your photos upon return!
