My Beautiful Red Balloon

If I had to cite the highlight of my Myanmar journey, it would have to be the hot air balloon flight over the ancient temples of Bagan! What a thrill to be floating on air-- in the biggest balloon I've ever seen-- on the clearest day that's ever been-- over magical, mystical Myanmar.

Wonderful shot with the temple and the other balloon in the picture! I must say there were so many amazing moments in that trip from a cave full of Buddhas to the floating villages, but the balloon ride was definitely up there...especially, getting up at the crack of dawn and watching them inflate them....big FAV!
