As a follow-up to my post from yesterday, this collage features a young woman of the Padaung tribe, on the left. On the right, is a different angle on the same woman I featured in my main album yesterday. Most of those who commented on it found that image disturbing on a number of levels. In going back through a host of shots this morning, I found these and was struck by the power of a photo to convey an idea. It’s interesting how a photographer’s pov and presentation can influence the viewer’s interpretation of the scene or event.
