I planted two tiny cherry tomato plants six weeks ago, the day before the lockdown started in our town. Now the plants are three times their original size, each with a stem of little tomatoes about as big as my thumb nail. No date has been announced for the end to quarantine but at least we’ll have fresh veggies for a summer salad.
