This hummingbird was perched on a branch of the bougainvillea next to my patio fountain, waiting for a dip in the water. I've noticed a definite pattern in how the birds approach the fountain and share the space, while one or two others wait on a neighboring branch. As soon as space frees up, they swoop in.
