The Victoria Falls Bridge by redy4et

The Victoria Falls Bridge

Built in1905, the bridge spans the Zambezi just below the falls and connects Zambia and Zimbabwe. Trains , cars, and trucks use the bridge as a main thoroughfare between the countries and there's a footpath just below road level where you can see some people walking. Bungee jumping from this bridge, 354 feet above the crocodile infested waters, is a big attraction. I won't be doing that in this lifetime!
Love the detail and composition here. Fav

Oh, yes, THAT's the one!! I don't know if I would dare do this one, but I might consider it!! That's a wonderful looking bridge, and you got a good angle on it!

interesting shot. Looks like 1/2 the bridge is newer than the other 1/2.

interesting information. around here when something is only painted halfway it is because of a county line. I assume that is why the bridge is only halfway painted. You would never catch me jumping either
