Bay of Pigs

The local children weren't the only ones curious about what we were up to. Dozens of pigs, not sure if they were domesticated or wild, roamed the beach, sniffing our camera bags and kept nosing in quite close to the action. That's my husband in the lower left of the shot.
I don't think this would be a usual photo anywhere in the world! Wow, catch 'em by the tail and ask them if they have been to market?

That is so incongruous that it is pretty funny....this scene at the beach with westerners taking pictures could be anywhere, but the pigs add a sense of the absurd!!

How bizarre is that! I love the way everyone is ignoring the pigs as if it's quite normal to have them on the beach! What were their cameras pointing at that was more interesting? Love it! Fav!
