Oh gosh! This trip looks like one of the most amazing ones anyone could have taken. And Burma has changed so much since I was there in the 1980s -- some not a bit, of course, but to think you could do this in Pagan (Bagan)! We got around on horse-drawn carts! Not even carriages! And we had to learn how to pay "under the table" to get a seat on the plane so we could get out within our 7 day visa limit. The alternative was an 8 hour ride in the back of a pickup truck!
