“Wedding Rings”

This is a small replica of a Peter Lipman-Wulf sculpture, which we bought at the Detroit Institute of Arts … on our anniversary in some bygone year.
I had a hectic day and took only 10 [uninspired] frames before tonight. I stole the idea from an image I saw on the Latest page today, but this post shows that an old dog can learn new things. I rotated the piece from its usual position so that the shadow would be more interesting.

Lighting by IKEA; I'm glad I turned the piece and found a position that would highlight the rings as shadows!
