Unraveling lunch

They all can’t be winners and today was not a good day for photography. But it was a good, bitter-cold day to leave lunch on my office windowsill and gaze out at the snow on the roof below.
(This is actually a “honeybell” [orange].)
I'm having an off day also. This looks very refreshing though and I love the burst of orange!!

@momeraths Honeybells really are wonderful! Very easy to peel and always, always very juicy. I just wish it weren't such a lame image to post here. Tomorrow can only be an improvement, right?!?

@momeraths Some of your photos are from Florida, yes? If so, then perhaps you're familiar with honeybells?

@oneinodd Thanks, Lisa! I went with this one because it showed more white of the sill and the snow. I didn't really want the flash, but it was just too dark without...

I really dig this. I like how the orange is not centred & also love how the orange pops from the white.

@hey_danes Taking shots un-centered is still a struggle at times for me. What would we do without the half-press focus-lock?! Glad you liked it!
