There ought to be a train photo from this trip, since it was a Viewliner roomette trip for us. For the “roomette” part of the car, there are compartments on both sides of an “interior corridor.” Another part of the car has larger “bedroom” accommodations. For this part of the car, the corridor is to one side as shown here. (This was our path to take our meals in the dining car.)

@digitalrn Thanks, Rick! We're flying east next month for a vacation and the TSA routine will probably feel very insulting and the long layover in some not-so-in-between-airport will be much less enjoyable than one's own private compartment. Any developments yet for a train trip with the grandkids??
